Hallo Tagebuch! 

Heute war wirklich ein heißer Tag. Es gibt so viel zu sehen am AQUA! 2008. Glücklicherweise haben viele Workshops, Inseln und Attraktionen mit Wasser zu tun. Da kann man sich immer wieder mal abkühlen. Vielleicht war das heiße Wetter auch daran schuld, dass ich heute zum ersten Mal Techniker bei der Arbeit beobachten konnte.

Davor müssen die mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit über den Lagerplatz gefetzt sein. Ein Wasseranschluss hier, ein Stromstecker dort. Hut ab, so viel Dinge muss man an einem Tag mal gleichzeitig erledigen können. 

Ich hatte mit meinen Freunden noch viel Spaß im Schlammbad am Jangtse. So eine Gatsch-Packung soll ja gesund sein. Sie macht auch Schoko-braun und andere Leute damit einzugatschen ist recht lustig.  Geschwitzt hab ich, als ich einmal quer über den Lagerplatz gehen wollte. Vom Lagereingang im Süden bis zum Aquenteuerplatz im nördlichsten Teil geht man gute 20 Minuten! Aber dazwischen gibt es ja Cafés, die mit Eis die Hitze erträglich machten. 

Heute gibt es noch ein paar Festln im CaEx-Bereich. Wer den ganzen Tag über neue Freunde kennenlernt, der möchte sich natürlich am Abend noch mal gemütlich zusammensetzen. Gelegenheit dazu hat man genug. Im „Hydrant“ zum Beispiel sind wir unter uns. Diese coole Holzkonstruktion aus Jurtenplanen haben wir für uns alleine, während die LeiterInnen draußen bleiben müssen.  

Die Zeit verfliegt und ich muss los! Schönen Abend liebes Tagebuch – bis morgen, dann stell ich euch Balthasar vor!

Dear diary,
Today we had a really hot day. There are such a lot of things to see and explore on AQUA! 2008. Luckily there are a lot of workshops, islands and attractions who deal with the topic "water", so you can always find something to cool down.
Due to the hot weather I had the possibility to watch the techniciens who have to move with the velocity of light around the camp: Watersupply here, electricity there....all things they have to do at the same time.
I had a lot of fun with my friends at the mud pit at the Jangtse. Such mud packs are said to be very healthy and they give you the tan of chocolate. Besides it's quite funny to put others into a mud pack, too.
When I wanted to cross the camp I was sweating as hell. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the entrance in the south to the aquenture site in the northern part! But you will find a lot of cafés on your way which will provide you with icecream to render the heat bearable.
Tonight there will start a few parties in the CaEx area. Who meets such a lot of people daily wants to cosy up with them in the evening. There are many possibilities to do so. For example at the "Hydrant" we like to hang around. The cool wood construction and the covers of yurts belongs to us while all the chiefs and leaders have to stay out.
